SQL Server Mobile Database Client App Reviews

57 add

One of the best app purchases Ive made

For the few bucks I paid for this app, it has freed me from lugging my big laptop around. Love it!

Nice product

I use SQL Server at work so I was glad to see a mobile version, this works well on my iPhone but crashes constantly on my IPad 1 they need to improve the bugs in that before I can give 5 stars

Good App

It allows me to do non complex scripts. Once the variable function is added. It will be a must have app for IT professionals.

Complex queries

Cannot execute queries to create tables or add columns. This is not explained in the review and should be before you buy the app and then find out its limits. App is fine for people who want to add or display data. Not a good app for developers or admins.

SQL Server User

Can do a lot to confirm what is going on with my databases (both connectivity and data tables). Writing any complex SQL queries can be done but is time consuming and challenging. Cannot create tables or add records. Query tool only. Great for connection and query function only. Would like to see apps that use SQL Server with app front end to create personal databases to enter and report data. Perhaps this "wish list" is outside the scope and mission of this app.

Solid app

Doesnt over deliver, but its competition is really really bad! So be happy you have this.

Great software

Simple to use. Easy to build queries. Simple interface.

Good, missing functionality

I do like the app and find it is very helpful. Some missing items I noticed: • Would like to be able to add records • Cannot clear date fields or set them to Null • Cannot view or execute SPs • Would like to be able to create / edit SPs

Absolutely excellent app.

I am the webmaster of a website with 30,000 registered users and I can keep track of the data on my iphone. Its incredibly useful and runs excellently.

Great App!

I downloaded this app on go, use it to access my schools server farm for SQL class & its implementation is making class a breeze on the go... esp. combined with iphones screen capture for class assignments.

Great App

This is a great App, very easy to configure and very useful.

Amazing tool with no peers

For simple SELECT queries, this tool is simply amazing. Loads huge tables and schema with ease. The interface is surprisingly easy to use and good enough that we have used it as an introduction to SQL. 5 stars though in the future, I would like a bit more stability (crashes though rarely) and add ability to do UPDATE and ALTER functions.

First Class SQL Glass!

Awesome App! Remote management and querying of SQL for all projects in Europe at my fingertips! Thanks!

Perfection

Sometimes its actually faster to check out some table values on the iPad than to Rdp into the server and load mssql.

Only 5 of 30 tables showing up, no support.

First logical step: seek tech support. Problem: Community supported app, no responses to my post and its been almost a week. A ten dollar app and Community Support? Really? It has a lot of potential and Ill be back to give it rave reviews when I see it work!

Doesnt bring in all the tables

I compared the table list to SQL Server Management Studio and saw a plethora of missing tables. This is not acceptable for a paid app. Tables are not the only missing objects. Some views are also missing when using this app. I was excited to see a SQL Server client app here, but now I am completely disappointed. Please save your $$ and dont purchase this app. If you need examples, please contact me. If anyone has a proven alternative to this app, please let me know.

I Feel Duped and/or Dumb

I bought this thinking I could create and/or edit table structures and stored procedures...but you can only look at and edit existing data. Honestly, what is that good for in the big picture? All of these people saying they dont need their laptops anymore. What the heck do they do for a living if all they need to do is look at raw data in some tables? I thought I would be able to use this as a development tool (software designer & developer here) on the go, but for now, it turns out to be somewhat useless. I dont know if I feel like I got duped or if I just didnt get what it was in its entirety. Oh well, hopefully they will add some core database maintenance functionality somewhere down the line.

Quick and Dirty DB Access

This is an excellent app for doing ad-hoc stuff with SQL.

Very basic

This is a very, very basic data editor. You can edit data using a basic interface but there is no way to write and execute INSERT or UPDATE statements. In fact, there is no T-SQL support at all. There is also no way to view, edit, or execute stored procedures or functions, now can you edit table or view schemas.

Is not showing dbo schema

Big issue! When your db has own schemas, this tool only shows theses own schemas but is not showing dbo schema, so I cannot work with this tool. Too bad
