SQL Server Mobile Database Client App Reviews

This is an awesome app, just recently started out on SQL server, I find it very helpful to look at my DB and perform queries on the fly. However, it needs to make use of the extra screen real estate available on the iPhone 5. A welcome addition would be a GUI for making views although that is fairly simple if you know enough SQL to do it in a custom query.

Good for checking data and table structure. Not a substitute for a real SQL query builder and/or editor. But for out of office checking of some ideas just fine.

If you need to get some quick answers to you SQL data questions while your on the move this makes it easy.

Very good SQL app. Would appreciate more functionality on graphs.

This app claims to be serious enterprise level but you cannot execute a stored proc to return a result set. For that reason alone this app is nearly useless for any serious enterprise. Has not been updated since 2011 and multiple support tickets request this basic functionality.

Worked fine on both iPhone5 and iPad with iOS6. Upgraded to iOS7 on both devices and while this product still works fine on the iPhone it is extremely slow and hangs on the iPad, making it useless.

The app does not support azure because it does not support SSL connections. According to the support boards, its been over a year since the need was identified and it apparently still hasnt been fixed. Now that Ive spent $10 on it, I cant use it for my primary use case.

I love this app it works fine

I use the app all of the time to check on databases, run basic queries when in meetings when co-workers need info etc. It is fast and gives me all I could hope for in a portable app.

You can connect using jdbc to regular sql servers but i would like to connect to sql azure instances. You get an I/O socket error, it can connect but then dies.

So cant even install it. No reason that this should require the latest version of iOS.

This is not a serious tool as you can not execute stored procedures that return result sets. If you run an sp you will get Xx rows affected But YOU CAN NOT VIEW THE RESULT SET Do not purchase for anything more than simple queries. They claim they are a serious tool enterprise level for IT pros. This is very far from the sad truth.
